Made because I for one hate wading through 40 pages of commentary to get the 3-4 posts of actual information that isn't in the first post. This is nothing more then my effort to help future people reading "the rules" to be able to find them and feel they are up-to-date when they have gotten to the end of the rules thread. An observation also, please remember while posting your comments that the written word does not convey adequate body language, tone, or inflection such that people will always be able to tell when sarcasm is being employed (unless you happen to be a master wordsmith of course!). Got to get to work on that sarcasm font.....

"Ultra rare drops will be decided by the officers and a tell will be issued and offered to loot, if you choose then to accept the item you will be charged a very large sum of DKP."
I would like to you consider changing this DKP Rule. Everything should go up for bid with no exceptions. Let the one with the most DKP that has saved up from day one win those ultra-rare drops.

I think the "minimum" dkp needs addressed... I couldn't get a rotting cloak for less than 40 and then someone gets a weapon for 25?

The only issue I could see is if multiple items were being bid on concurrently and you had to compare multiple items. If it's a 'tough decision' whether it is an upgrade for you and you can't decide between your current worn item and the item being bid on, it's probably better that you save your DKP and pass it to someone who will have a clear upgrade.

The time limit is being extended to 45 sec. Everyone has to be ressed before the loot is linked. People are given a few minutes to check items and compare before the bidding starts. The minimum has now been set at 5dkp with bidding in increments of 5.
Remember this is a work in progress. Please be patient and thank you for your suggestions.

"Spells: Glowing Terrormotes will be called ON THEIR OWN! Highest bids in descending order. All other spells will be called together. TOP bids win rights to loots. Highest in descending order."
Is it ok to back out of a bid if the spell you want was taken and you can not cut it down to a lower spell?
I'm second highest bidder and looking to win a Greater out of a Greater, Median and Minor. First winner picks greater... ok i'm out, canx my dkp bid. Is that going to cause a problem?

No, excellent question though. In the event that you do not want the item, you are able to "pass" at which time the mote will be going to the next highest bidder.

finding it difficult to fit into the allotted time when the various channels are flooded with spam. I have some 6-7 windows open to separate out various channels but even then, the primary sort of information is evilraid and raidsay (which I have in the same window, so I can follow instructions easily) but which gets flooded at times during the auctioning time. Which means I am scrolling up to find appropriate links (for linkbot usage days, which yes I understand is different then out raids, but I refuse to have 15 set ups for chats =P) which equates to "holy crap the bid has started!" while reviewing items.
I have brought this up before and this sums up the answer I got "If you can't click your item and compare it to your own in 30 seconds, you were probably AFK, other factors aside like if you're still waiting for a rez or something"
one other situation being, you have a limited amount of DKP and must decide if you wish to bid on this or that item, or bid on spells (which are run concurrently)
I understand the need for speed in this regard, and the push for people to be more prepared when they show up for raid/join midway. How ever the focus ahead of time is strategy/follow directions to win. We are having guests get thoroughly confused as to what exactly is going on when its loot time, and of course it takes some small amount of time to get everyone situated. Remember we are basically working with these people in 3 different but similar DKP systems. Some confusion is to be expected!
How ever the time limit has bitten me in the arse on a few occasions. Thusly expressing my opinion that the time limit may need to be extended a little longer. If nothing else, there are at times some small delays in chat relay... I have had first and second announcement come across my client in less then 5 seconds of each other. Same with second and close. I am sure I am not the only one =)
