ok there have been many versions of this roaming about the game,
but im going to try to simplify this as much as possible.
Augs for Casters - (Mana Augs (Int + SD)+x21.1)=Total Mana for a Aug
1. Red Eye of Gosik (Breeding Grounds) Gosik
2. Afton's August Amethyst (Resplendent Temple) Afton the Cleanser
3. Quicksilver Globule (Plane of Shadow: Breaking the Seal) - Kela Vas Strongbox
4. Crystalline Tear (Volska's Husk Slag Golem or Merchant Bought in TWK)
5. Silver of Fear (complete all ROF collections)
6. Stone of The Landing (Shards Landing Mobs)
7. Tweyne's Stone of Evocation (LDoN Raids) (Specialize Evocation +15% (40 Max)
8. Splinter of Potency (Estle #1: Life After Death) - Specialize Evocation +15% (45 Max)
(Estle #2: Remember the Dead)
(Estle #3: The Other Brother)
(Marla #1: A Helping Hand)
(Marla #2: Seeking Refuge)
9. Double Pronged Grendlaen Incisor (Sepulcher of Order -The Traitor Revealed or Merchant Bought in TWK)
10. Candle of Hollow Souls (Heart of Fear: The Epicenter - Soul Hollow)

18 Power Sources - Sealed Pure Energean Ethereal Orb
19. Proc Augs ie. Living Golem Heart (Volska's Husk Scout Flametongue or Merchant Bought in TWK)
20. Type 3 Augs - Same Merchant That does the Terrormotes in Shardslanding
21. Vellious Snowball - Lowers the Agro Range of a mob.
22. Illusion items such as Polymorph Wand Plaguebringer (instant mana regen buff)
23. The Chief's Influence - Rygor in EW - instant hp buff to replace brells if you cant get brells for some reason
24. CoTF T2 BP can be used as a clicky to increase mana pool and spell damage
RoF T4 BP is the same way.
the rest is simply a variation of aa's and how you play your caster.
ive come to find this set up to be most useful to me:
many casters such as wizards can easily see the predominate kinds of offensive spells we use are fire.
so use Pyromancy 21 - this will constantly burn your mob until it is very vulnerable to fire.
then there is the choice of familiar to use. the higher level player you are generally will determine what kind you will use.
the 2 top choices for higher level casters are Improved Familiar 8 or Kerafyrm's Prismatic Familiar 3
carefully choose which one best suits your kind of playing.
if you use alot of instant cast spells obviously you would choose Kerafyrm's for the added spell damage buff it gives for instant cast spells.
but if your not the kind of person who uses instant cast spells often, you may want to choose the Improved Familiar instead.
for the increased intelligence and mana pool.
Prolonged Destruction is generally your primary aa for burns.
Arcane Fury and Second Spire will also add spell damage, with a added cost of mana
Silent Casting is quite obviously your best friend, less agro - less chance it will come to you and try to kill you.
you can use 2 furys at the same time.
so i would recommend Fury of Ro 12 and Fury of Kerafyrm 6
Ro will add a extra fire dot proc to your spells.
Kerafyrm will add a dot of all elements to your spells.
small things such as doing all your epics is incredibly usefull.
no mater how trivial it may seam here in 2014, and not when they was first introduced.
they all serve a purpose. so if you can imagine a free rune clicky
or a free all spells have a better chance of landing for all group members.
