New guild Applicants are to undergo a 1 month probation period. During this period you are required to show:
Asterisk ranking on the guild manager means:
At the end of your probation period you are still required to maintain a 2 day per month raid attendance rate. We don't raid 7 days a week. Current raid dates are Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 7PM EST, and an optional day during the week. This is not asking for your firstborn child, TWO DAYS... surely you can attend just 2 days a month.
We have a 'three strikes' rule for raid attendance, which means if you are online doing something else during raid time you will get a strike. Three consecutive strikes means you are subject to review by the guild leader inquiring why you aren't at the raid. Repeatedly avoiding the question will probably get you a guild removal. This is at the guild leader's discretion. Attending any official guild raid will wipe your strikes clean.
These rules are not in place to make anyone's life miserable, they are in place to give YOU a better EQ experience.
- Registration on the forum. This is not optional. If you don't register you will be guild removed. You are REQUIRED TO REGISTER ON THE FORUM. You are free to use whichever E-mail you like for registration, but if you want quick, reliable registration it is recommended that you don't use Yahoo mail, Yahoo mail sucks. Sending mail by throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean would probably be more reliable. If you want quick reliable activation from a free E-mail service, we highly recommend using a Gmail account.
- Team participation. This means talk in guild chat or Ventrilo so we know you're alive and do things with other guild members. If you are a veteran guild member it is also in your best interest to greet the new members to make them feel welcome.
- 2 raids per month raid attendance (which is subject to the guild leader's discretion)
Asterisk ranking on the guild manager means:
- Four stars means you are registered on the forum. This is the best ranking.
- Two stars means you are new, which means you are expected in good faith to register on the forum.
- One star means you are NOT registered on the forum and you've passed your probationary time to register. This means you may be subject for guild removal.
