TeamSpeak is free to download, but it requires a monthly subscription to keep the server running. We don't require any payment but the guild is growing quickly, and will become increasingly more expensive to maintain the slots (amount of people able to simultaneously be logged into the server). This is the link if you would like to contribute to our TeamSpeak rental fee and keep a high quality functional server. voicecommandcenter.com/grouppay.php?hash=db0ed-97966-b1ce5-88ae5-23798-d7dd0-33Things to keep in mind: 1. I do not profit from this. I have kept the current server running for several years from my own pocket. This money goes directly to the subscription fee when it comes time to pay the balance. 2. I want to be as transparent as possible, so you know exactly what you are contributing to. The current subscription fee is about $42.00 for 3 months, and holds 55 seats. The next payment is due around December 3, and every payment from then on is due every 3 months. 3. Do not pay too far in advance. If the quarterly fee is $42.00 and we have say, $500 in the kitty, we're not certain what will happen to the excess if the company goes bankrupt. Chances are you won't see it again. If someone contributes, I will post the total balance here so you know how much is in the pot. *EDIT* Currently as of Nov 29, 2014, we have a credit of $2.25. The bill is $42.75, so the next balance due is at the beginning of December, for $40.50.

How much is the next step up? I use to host one years ago for my "guilds" I know how expensive it can get.

It's not really that much more for the next step up, but I don't like paying for space that we don't use. I usually keep enough slots in reserve to ensure that we always have space. I believe the current max number of users is 55, and on a high capacity day, we usually don't go above 40. If someone notices that there are no seats available, I will consider upgrading the server.
If someone knows how to run TeamSpeak through a domain, I will consider opening a site where we have our own private server. What does this mean? We should have an unlimited number of seats, and an unlimited amount of file transfer space. I believe we currently have 2GB monthly file transfer capacity.
